Hi, I’m Ophelie, a Swiss-trained optician licensed in both Switzerland and Canada.
Originally from Switzerland, I moved to the Yukon seven years ago, drawn by its open landscapes, strong sense of community, and unique way of life. After serving the Whitehorse community in local optical clinics, I founded Moose Optical to offer something different — a more intentional and personalized way to experience eyewear.

Moose Optical is an independent, appointment-based optical practice in Whitehorse, founded and led by Ophelie.
Designed as a private consultation and fitting space, Moose Optical offers personalized, one-on-one eyewear services without the distractions of traditional retail settings. There are no walls filled with frames and no rushed decisions — only dedicated time, professional guidance, and a carefully curated selection of distinctive eyewear models.
Clients can choose from over 400 thoughtfully selected frames and receive expert advice on frame and lens options tailored to their prescription, lifestyle, and visual needs.
Mobile services are available by request for clients with limited mobility, as well as group bookings for community visits and pop-up events. Travel fees may apply.
